Pros and cons of Go Omaha app for iPhone and iPad

Go Omaha app good for

As reported by others there are spaces for improvement but the 0.99 price is nice. Plus this is the only game of limit Omaha hi lo that Ive found! AI is nice and roster of opponent avatars has good rotation. There is the added player challenge that player cant reset balance or cheat for the "cash" game option. This is a good reminder for how well one is playing. I feel that this game is tough so as I play better, I feel more confident about joining the Tom dwan challenge! He he. I hope for some updates but am still quite happy with this game!
Great app! Good graphics. Highly recommended. Would be awesome if you could study your own stats.
First let me say I like this game and I am glad I spent the 99 cents for it. Pros Only Omaha 8 game I know of on iPhone so that is awesome The Computer players are fun to play against. Cons No bet is shown when placed no pot size is shown No continue feature this is a MUST for any poker game Verdict please add these missing items in future updates to make this a 5 star game
I love this app. I wish I had the same decision making logic. For some reason I can no longer see the hands that won after I dropped. I would like to see if I would have won had I stayed. Otherwise it is great.
Program runs fine on both my iPhone4 and iPad2 running iOS4. Wish the iPad App ran larger on the iPad, basically is the same size on the iPad as it is on the iPhone, aside from that it is fine.
Personally I think this is a great app! I am usually playing the single game, non-tournament option and only have one upgrade that Id like to see in the future. When playing in intermediate or fast mode when I fold a hand Id still like to see what the final table hand was. Thanks!

Some bad moments

Not many Omaha options out there so I was hoping this would be good. Needs a little work. Would like to see the graphics updated. Only option in vertical. Would like to see the raise amount shown. Also a better display when the pot is split. Hope there are updates to come.
Game action with the cards is unrealistic and I thought I would be playing against live people not just a computer.... Waist of 2 bucks.
No continue feature? Really?!? So every time I get a call, I have to start a tourney over from scratch? BS! Especially since the price went up, this is completely unacceptable. We need an update!
I just applied the new update. When playing a tourney the app does not accurately handle an individual players bank. Unacceptable! Also, there should be an option to disable actions such as the dealing of cards and the movement of chips to players. This unnecessarily slows the game!! Youll get two stars back when you correct the first problem and two when correcting the second.
Unfortunately it has gotten worse with every update - 2 in around 12 months. The first promised to fix an issue with saving a tournament partially complete. Something that it did already. It broke any previous positive results. If you close the game through the home button or by answering a text or phone call, when you resume the game you will be starting a new tournament game. This last update, takes the last bit of pleasure from the game by breaking the betting and raising structure. A single hand can wipe out your 800 dollar starting chip count in the first hand even though the blinds are 20/40. It is if you are playing pot limit and you have two choices - call and pot. Save your money. This is a definite pass at this point for anyone looking for a Omaha game they can enjoy wasting some time on.
I agree with recent posters. The app itself is pretty decent (especially considering that there are almost no Omaha apps available in the App Store) - however there is something seriously wrong with the latest update. Not only did the update wipe out my account total, but something is now wrong with the tournament betting structure. The tournaments are supposed to be fixed-limit, and the bets/raises should be in increments of the blinds. However, there are instances where say the blinds are 40/80, you have 800 in chips, and a bet or first raise puts all of your chips in. Were the tournaments turned into pot-limit (or something else) by default on accident?? Id like to give the app a better rating, but not until the update issue has been resolved!
